Sodium Fluoride Potassium Oxalate tubes are designed to measure glucose, ethanol, and lactate levels in blood samples. They contain additives such as sodium fluoride and disodium EDTA or sodium fluoride and potassium oxalate. Like all products manufactured by TTT World, these tubes are single-use and vacuum-sealed. They can be produced in various sizes and volumes based on customer needs. Additionally, optional pre-barcoded labels allow for easier identification and traceability.

Handling Precautions
Inadequate or delayed mixing of additives can lead to inaccurate test results.

Do not reuse; all tubes are strictly single-use.
Transferring samples between tubes should only be done under laboratory supervision to avoid test discrepancies.
Sample Collection Protocol
Review needle usage instructions before venipuncture.
Position the puncture site downward to enhance blood flow.
Discard the first drop of blood to avoid tissue fluid contamination.
Apply gentle pressure to stimulate blood flow.
Blood should flow gently into TTT World sodium fluoride potassium oxalate tubes. If blood does not enter properly, tap the tube gently (never while open). Do not shake the tube. Fill the tube according to the volume marking. Once filled, invert the tube 5–6 times gently to mix the blood with the additive. Avoid vigorous shaking, which can cause foam formation, hemolysis, and erroneous test results.
Ensure correct placement of tubes during centrifugation. Recommended centrifugation is 10 minutes at 3000g under 15–24°C ambient conditions.
